Last Monday I was at Hammonasset doing a purification and cleansing ritual when I found this wonderful Horseshoe Crab tail. The necklace is copper, shell, and the horseshoe crab tail.

Not much going on this week, I spent a couple of afternoons at the studio, but nothing was flowing and I was just too distracted, so I ended up sitting on the studio couch reading. I did manage to make a few rubber ducks which I’ve given away to friends. I’ll make more and put them on etsy. They’re really cute.

Last week I made flowers as part of my quest to make a Lotus. It’s going to be a while I think before I get a Lotus petal down. At least it’s a fun and I think these are rather pretty, the pink is made with 22K gold, and I dimpled the centers of the flowers so they could hold essential oils. I’ll be making sunflowers soon, the first one is spoken for I’ll also be putting these on my etsy shop in the coming weeks.
