Not much going on this week, I spent a couple of afternoons at the studio, but nothing was flowing and I was just too distracted, so I ended up sitting on the studio couch reading. I did manage to make a few rubber ducks which I’ve given away to friends. I’ll make more and put them on etsy. They’re really cute.

Last week I made flowers as part of my quest to make a Lotus. It’s going to be a while I think before I get a Lotus petal down. At least it’s a fun and I think these are rather pretty, the pink is made with 22K gold, and I dimpled the centers of the flowers so they could hold essential oils. I’ll be making sunflowers soon, the first one is spoken for I’ll also be putting these on my etsy shop in the coming weeks.

I’ve started adding images of some of my work on Flicker. I’m not in the studio much at the moment, the weather is too warm and nice, I ‘ll be back in front of the flame in september.

Myself and the other artist, Carlyene, have pulled out of the exhibit at the Visions Toward Wellness Gallery in Stony Creek.

I've been revisiting tree frogs, its been over 2 years since I've made them, and there's a batch cooling in the kiln. Can't wait to open it this afternoon!

I've put up some new Pandora and Troll Beads on eBay tonight and also some new stuff on Etsy.
