These were my test beads to see how they come out before I make a bunch of them and take longer to make than my regular Rubino beads.  Borosilicate and 22K gold. I'm feeling a lot better today and hope to get some torch time in this weekend to make some bead sets and maybe some sculptural stuff, or marbles, or......There's so much I want to do! Ah well, patience Grasshopper.  <br /><br />The hard drive on my powerbook died a couple of weeks ago, got it fixed, ordered  a new MacBook Pro, hard drive on that crapped out a couple of days ago, fixed it, so hopefully all is well again with my computers. I have a lot of Bullseye odd color rods and have never really done anything with them since I've been really concentrating on borosilicate glass instead. So today I made some dichroic wings and a dragonfly with the Bullseye and I'm in love with it. So much nicer to work than Moretti for sculptural pieces.. I made 4 but only two survived, I also cracked a really nice dichroic fish, where all the fins were dichro. Ah well, happens. I think I need to check the temp on my kiln, it may be running too hot. The legs are the hardest part for me, will have to practice more. They're about 3.5" long made out of borosilicate. The rainbow colors are from persimmon strike, my new favorite color. Here's a sampling of a small school of them. The dichroic glass fish are very sparkly! Most of them are signed with a murrini cane. I'll have to start on a new cane  soon, they're so time consuming to make, but last a long time since I just use a small slice.<br /></span>]]></content:encoded></item></channel>
